More than just quantum safe computing


Do you want see cybersecurity in action? Do you wish to make quantum proof systems? You have come to the right place. Welcome! Why did I create BeatQuantum? Please allow me to share with you.

Cyber criminals are already active. My first objective is to establish a cyber security framework. We must secure our systems as much as possible. This includes using the best practices. I violate the RFCs if needed.

Quantum Computers are also already here. You can buy or rent them. They have a strong positive potential. However, they also pose a risk to traditional encryption. My introductory article on Quantum Computing and Cryptography is here. I would love to beat quantum computers before they beat encryption. This is known as quantum safe, quantum resistance or quantum proof computing. That is the second objective.

A laboratory unlike others


BeatQuantum is my playground. It is created as an academic proof-of-concept and includes the following experimental servers:


All servers in the lab deploy robust encryption algorithms. These are difficult to crack using quantum computers. I will share the scripts or steps used to create these servers on GitHub.

I will add new servers e.g. DNS servers when I get the time. I may delete some of the above servers when the experiment is over.

My academic research is just mine. It is not a business. I have a day job too. In my spare time I enjoy playing with computers. I create my own systems, break systems and test their cyber security. I will remain a student of cybersecurity all my life.
